What a musical blessing!

Matthew 19:14

New International Version (NIV)

On Sunday September 24th, 2017, Miss Brooklyn (age 5) blessed our congregation with an amazing song! She had heard Mrs Angela sing "Clean" a few weeks before and loved it so much, that she asked if she could sing it onstage!

We needed donations...you filled those needs!

Throughout the coming months, there will be many communities that will have recovery needs.

We are blessed to know that our church can help to provide needed resources to the people that need them the most!

On September 4, 2017.  Pastor Bruce with Temple Baptist Church and Chaplain of the Calcascieu Parish Sheriff's Office sent us the following picture and text:

"This was in Vidor today. We passed out supplies and fed 325 folks. People were still coming but we had run out of supplies! Thank the folks for all the supplies! and thank you!"

Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Needs

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

I have spoken with SBC Disaster Relief Coordinators and a Chaplain in the Lake Charles Sheriff’s Office who told me that small communities between Houston and Louisiana including Louisiana have also been severely impacted by Harvey.  As I was told the situation is “fluid” and needs arise in different areas as the flood waters move.  If any of you would like to drop off supplies at church , we will deliver those supplies in order to meet immediate needs.  At this time we will collect any items from the following list.  Note:  We are NOT taking clothes.

•Basic toiletries

•Toilet paper

•Styrofoam Cups

•Snack Food, Can goods
